Simon Stephens
Simon Stephens, born 1971, is an English playwright and graduated from the University of York. Until 2005, Stephens worked in the literary department of the Royal Court Theatre in London. While there, he held a leadership position in the Court's Young Writers' Programme. The German language-premieres of his plays were directed by Sebastian Nübling, Karin Beier and Matthias Fontheim, amongst others. His next play "Three Kingdoms" will be premiered in October 2011.
